Germán Tejada (Peru)

Germán Tejada studied Audiovisual Communication at the Pontificia Universidad Católica in Peru and Direction of Actors at the International School of Film and Television in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. For the past five years he has worked as a director in the production company Señor Z, making commercials for the most important brands in Peru, music videos for several local bands, and two short films — El hueco, winner of the Canal+ award for best international short film at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival, among other festivals, and Retukiri Tukiri, winner of the award for best short film at the Los Angeles Film Awards and currently in competition at several festivals. Germán has worked as a video artist for several stage pieces and he is the director and founder of the Centro Cultural Cine Olaya, an independent multidisciplinary space in Lima.
