Script Revision Lab in English

Lena Rudnick is a filmmaker, writer and consultant living in Los Angeles. Her passion is telling hysterically dysfunctional relationship stories and investigating the connection between self, society and the cosmos. She holds an M.F.A. in Film Directing from Columbia University in New York City. Her short films have shown at Lincoln Center, Miami International Film Festival, NY International Latino Film Festival, and St. Tropez. Her feature Daddy’s Girl, with Emmy-nominated Reka Posta producing, was selected by Cine Qua Non Lab and is currently in development. Meanwhile, the Jewish Women’s Theatre of Los Angeles adapted a piece of the script for stage. She’s also developing a TV comedy with Anonymous Content and her musician-led video series, commissioned by National Sawdust, premiered on PBS in the summer of 2020. While Lena spans genre and form, her mixture of comedy and pathos, her inspirited vision of humanity and her desire to forward female stories remain unyielding.

Lena Rudnick will serve as Academic Assistant at the 2020 Script Revision Lab in English.
